What are the Hospital hours?
Monday - Friday  7:00am - 6:00pm. 
Saturday  8:00am - Noon. 
The clinic is closed on Sunday.

Do I need to have an appointment?
Yes, patients are seen by appointment only at this time. We are implementing a curbside service protocol for the time being. 

We will allow one healthy adult in the clinic when doing a euthanasia at this time.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check, American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Do not accept Care Credit at this time.

Can I make payments?
Payment in full is required at the time of service. 

At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age.
Your pet will receive an exam before surgery to determine its health status. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery.
 Also, a pre-anesthetic blood screen is required prior to undergoing any anesthetized procedure or surgery.

What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?
The pre-anesthetic blood screening is done to assure safety during surgery and the ability to heal following surgery. The blood test will show the complete blood cell count and the organ and clotting functions of your pet.

Is it a good idea to let my pet have at least one litter?
No, there is no advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However there are plenty of advantages to having your pet spayed or neutered. 
The advantages for the female include, decreasing the chance of breast tumors, cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life.  
The advantages for the male include, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer and perianal adenomas later in life. It will help decrease the desire to roam the neighborhood and help prevent spraying and marking. It also decreases the surplus of unwanted puppies and kittens.

Do you board pets?
Yes, we have boarding space for both dogs and cats.     
   
What are your kennels like?
Our dog kennel is all indoor with runs and a variety of different sized cages. The dogs are walked 3-4 times daily in our fenced yard. 
The cat condos are housed in a separate area away from the dogs.
They have plexi glass on the back of the condos so they are able to see outdoors.

What should I bring for my pet's stay? 
Your pet will be provided with clean bedding, dishes, litter boxes for cats, daily. We will furnish these items to assure proper sterilization and cleanliness. You will only need to bring any medications or special foods that your pet requires.

Do you offer grooming services?
Yes, our groomer can provide all-breed grooming for both dogs and cats. Making  an appointment before you drop your pet off is recommended.
